Competitive Program
Tuscaloosa United Soccer Club’s Competitive Program is for players U12-U19 or 11-18 years old. Competitive teams play within the Alabama Soccer Association State League and compete for Alabama State Championships and the opportunity to attend USYS Regional Championships.
Coached by our highly qualified, professional coaching staff, competitive teams practice two to three times a week, compete in league games, and have the opportunity to attend tournaments each season.
Competitive Soccer is an invitation only program. Tryouts are held each spring for players who would like to be considered for a competitive team. This is a great opportunity for your child to compete with players of similar ability and commitment level and enjoy an excellent experience with youth soccer.

Players unable to participate in annual tryouts due to relocation to Tuscaloosa, injury etc, may request a supplemental tryout* by contacting the Executive Director. We strongly encourage all players to attend our annual tryouts, to give players the best opportunity to be seen and evaluated by our coaches.
*Supplemental Tryouts: Individual Assessments and Supplemental Tryouts are exclusively used to add to existing competitive team rosters, provided space is available. All team formation occurs at the Annual Club Tryouts and there is no guarantee of space being available in an age group after the initial tryout process is complete.
